Choosing Pravilo teacher training: questions to ask

Compare course level, supervised practice, group size, instructor feedback, certificates and total costs before enrolling in Pravilo training.

Define the outcome you need

Pravilo training can mean a personal introduction, an equipment workshop, continuing education for an experienced practitioner or a residential intensive. Write down the outcome you need before comparing prices. An advanced workshop may assume knowledge that a beginner has not acquired.

Ask the organiser to state the entry requirements and intended outcome in writing. The word “master” in a course title does not explain the curriculum, assessment or legal scope of practice. A private certificate should not be assumed to authorise medical services.

Look beyond the number of course days

Request a timetable separating theory, demonstrations, independent study and supervised hands-on practice. Ask how much equipment time each participant actually receives. Three days at a venue do not necessarily mean three days of individual practical instruction.

Useful comparison questions include equipment inspection, workspace organisation, communication with clients, stopping procedures and the boundaries of the service. Ask how the organiser checks understanding and practical application, rather than attendance alone. This checklist is not an accreditation standard.

Check the teacher and learning conditions

Find out who wrote the course and who will teach the sessions you attend. Ask about teaching experience and whether you can speak to graduates of that particular programme. Testimonials from a different course or year may not describe the current offer.

Compare group size, the number of trainers and apparatuses, individual feedback and support after the course. For online programmes, ask what can actually be assessed remotely and which parts require in-person practice. Access to videos does not by itself demonstrate a participant’s skills.

Understand the certificate and the complete cost

Ask for an example of the final document and the name of its issuer. Clarify whether it records attendance, an assessment or a specific qualification. Verify any claim that it is a state-recognised credential or confers a regulated professional status.

Add travel, accommodation, meals, equipment hire and materials to the advertised fee. Check cancellation and refund terms for both participant and organiser cancellations. If employment or clients are promised, ask for the exact contractual conditions rather than treating a spoken promise as a guarantee.

Make a comparison sheet

Compare level, curriculum, supervised hours per participant, group size, teacher, feedback, final document and total price. A blank field is a question to resolve, not a reason to assume two courses are equivalent.

Find studios and practitioners through the directory and ask about their current training programmes. A directory listing does not mean a course is currently enrolling. Confirm dates, teaching language, content and payment terms with the organiser before booking.
